Oh wow, the last week really got away from me! I’ve been so busy with my 9 to 5 (which is much more like a 8:30 to 6/7 lately) that I’ve barely had time to do anything but cook, eat, and clean by the time I get home. In order to try to make up for my lack of posts the last few weeks, I spent a good portion of the weekend planning and photographing for my upcoming posts, so stay tuned. In the mean time, since it has been a while I thought it was time to share another addition of Monday Muse!
Watching // This Is Us – I’ve heard a couple of bloggers mention this show lately so I decided to watch an episode this weekend. Well, one episode turned into all four that have been released so far. This is easily becoming one of my favorite TV shows currently on the air. The first episode really sets the tone of what is to come. As the episodes unfold, the layers of the show start to peel away. I don’t want to say too much because the first episode does such an incredible job setting up the show. It is so much better if you just go watch it yourself. If you were a fan of Parenthood, this will be a show for you.
Wanting // Slate Grey Booties – I actually have this style of Sam Edelman booties in deep saddle and I totally adore them. So it is no surprise these caught my eye. I love the color and even though I don’t normal go for suede, I really like it in this slate grey. These would be a perfect addition to my fall wardrobe since I’ve yet to buy a pair of boots this fall. It may have to be these!
Reading // The Luxe Life by Fleur De Force – I’ve been watching Fleur’s YouTube channel and reading her blog for years. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ve probably heard me mention her before. Earlier this year she came out with her second book and I’ve had it pre-ordered for ages. I finally got my copy in the mail this week so even though I haven’t had a ton of time to read it, I’ve read bits of it when I can. I’m happy I finally was able to add it to my collection!
Drinking // Pumpkin Spice Latte – I know, I know. This is all everyone talks about before fall has even truly begun however, I actually haven’t had a PSL in years. The first time I tried it I still wasn’t much of a coffee drinker and I didn’t really understand what the big fuss was about. I preferred my Salted Caramel Mocha. Now that I drink coffee and lattes much more regularly, I decided to give it another shot. Now, I finally understand the obsession. Why doesn’t Starbucks offer this all year long? But seriously.
